Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a contract opportunity within the rail sector. The role will focus on LV electrical design for Liverpool Baltic Station and can be carried out remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and reviewing LV electrical designs for station infrastructure
- Preparing electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant rail standards, regulations and project requirements
- Co-ordinating electrical design activities with engineering and project teams
- Providing technical support throughout the design and delivery stages
- Reviewing design information and identifying potential technical issues or improvements
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in electrical design within the rail or transport infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems and station-based infrastructure
- Experience producing and reviewing electrical drawings, schematics and design documentation
- Understanding of relevant rail standards, health and safety requirements and design procedures
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively on a remote basis while meeting project deadlines
