Our client is seeking a Technical Consultant - Data Migration to support a large-scale HR transformation programme within the technology sector. This contract role offers flexible, global working and focuses on delivering accurate, high-quality data migration into target systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data migration workflows and automation solutions
- Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation processes
- Develop data cleansing reports and periodic Data Quality Reports (DQRs)
- Monitor data quality metrics, identify defects and support remediation activities
- Support data extraction from SAP SuccessFactors, SAP, legacy HR systems and third-party applications
- Validate data for completeness, accuracy and consistency across migration cycles
- Support mock loads, testing, cutover activities and production migrations
- Prepare technical documentation, validation evidence and reporting for business sign-off
Job Requirements:
- Experience in data migration, data conversion or system implementation projects
- Strong SQL, data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience with ETL, workflow or data integration tools
- Strong understanding of data quality management, validation and reconciliation
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse large datasets
- Excellent analytical, technical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HR systems would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI or similar reporting and automation tools would be beneficial
