Our client, a growing technology business specialising in digital construction and Building Information Modelling (BIM), is seeking a Project Manager to deliver software and service solutions across the built environment. Based at Whitley Business Park in Coventry, this permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working and responsibility for a varied portfolio of client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating, delivering and maintaining project work plans, adjusting scope and timelines as requirements evolve
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple concurrent construction technology and BIM projects
  • Applying consistent project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
  • Identifying technical resources, assigning responsibilities and coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and clients
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring records are stored correctly within the relevant project management or CRM system
  • Building strong client and stakeholder relationships through clear communication, regular status reporting and excellent customer service
  • Reviewing change requests and taking corrective action where projects risk deviating from budget, scope or plan
  • Supporting financial management through forecasting, capacity planning, expenditure scheduling and variance analysis

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Managing subcontractor schedules and monitoring the quality of delivery
  • Supporting business development through technical qualification, project scoping and proposal preparation
  • Preparing and delivering effective demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients
  • Contributing to process improvements and sharing insight across the wider team

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in project management, ideally within a client-facing construction, technology or digital delivery environment
  • Background in construction with sound knowledge of construction processes
  • Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital construction platforms and connected project workflows
  • Knowledge of CAD and its application within construction or technical project environments
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Sound judgement, problem-solving ability and decision-making skills under pressure

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience managing subcontractors and external delivery partners
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM and project management systems
  • Formal project management training or a qualification such as PRINCE2 or APM
  • Exposure to pre-sales, business development or technical demonstrations
