Our client is seeking a Quality, Risk and Governance Manager for a nine-month contract supporting a major public-sector technology programme. The role will lead the Quality, Risk, Governance and Assurance framework across mobilisation, transition and ongoing service delivery, ensuring the contract remains compliant, controlled and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the contract-level Quality Management System (QMS), governance processes, risk framework and document control arrangements
- Translate contractual, regulatory and compliance requirements into practical controls and assurance activities
- Lead internal audits, assurance reviews and compliance assessments, including the management of evidence
- Maintain risk and issue registers, oversee mitigation plans and provide effective governance reporting
- Support mobilisation and transition readiness for major technology and outsourced service contracts
- Manage non-conformities, corrective actions and continuous improvement activity
- Coordinate governance forums and produce clear reports for senior stakeholders and clients
- Maintain QMS and Document Management System (DMS) standards across the contract
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in quality, governance, risk, assurance or compliance leadership within a complex service environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audit methodology, QMS and document control
- Experience managing IT risk, risk registers, mitigation plans and governance reporting
- Understanding of contract governance, regulatory requirements and compliance assurance
- Experience supporting the mobilisation or transition of major contracts
- Internal or Lead Auditor experience would be advantageous
- Background in the public sector, government, estates, facilities management, infrastructure, outsourced services or another highly regulated environment would be beneficial
- Strong senior stakeholder management, communication and client-facing skills
Contract Details:
- Nine-month contract
- Based in Leatherhead or Swindon, with three days per week office-based
- Occasional travel to UK client sites
- Outside IR35, subject to assessment
- BPSS and CTC clearance required
- Immediate start available
