Electrical Trainer & Assessor (Building Services)

Role: Electrical Trainer & Assessor
Location: Northolt (on-site)
Type: Permanent, full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30)
Salary: DOE

Key responsibilities...

  • Deliver electrical training and assessment within your competency areas
  • Support learners throughout their course, monitoring progress and helping ensure timely completion
  • Conduct assessments/exams to awarding organisation requirements, mark promptly and provide feedback
  • Maintain accurate, organised and confidential learner paperwork
  • Liaise with colleagues across centre management, scheduling and customer services to support smooth course delivery
  • Support course development, training materials and upkeep of technical resources
  • Invigilate exams and handle professional discussions/oral questioning where required
  • Promote the centre's course offering and maintain high service standards

Key skills and experience...

  • Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification (or industry-recognised equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2382 (Wiring Regulations)
  • Strong, current electrical industry experience and confidence delivering to groups
  • Desirable: Inspection & Testing qualifications
  • Desirable: C&G 2377 (PAT Testing)
  • Advantageous: teaching (PTLLS/AET), assessor (A1/D32/TAQA), IQA/Internal Verifier (V1/D34) qualifications
  • Approachable, professional, and able to deliver engaging sessions
