About Our Client
Our client is a leading global MEP specialist delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects across Europe. Due to continued growth on a major hyperscale Data Centre development in Milan, Italy, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the delivery of high-voltage and low-voltage packages.
Role Overview
As Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day site operations focusing specifically on MV/LV Containment and MV/LV Cable Pulling. You will ensure works are executed to strict quality, safety, and client specifications, managing direct labor and subcontractors while keeping the project on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee site execution for all MV/LV containment installation and MV/LV cable pulling activities across the data centre facility.
Manage daily site labor, sub-contractors, and specialist trades to meet progress milestones.
Ensure strict adherence to site health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE).
Review technical drawings, schematics, and method statements to ensure accurate installation.
Conduct regular site walk-throughs, quality inspections, and sign off on completed work packages.
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment hire, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted site progress.
Identify risk factors, potential delays, or site clashes early and implement effective solutions.
Maintain clear reporting line to the Construction Manager, providing daily progress updates.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Senior Supervisor on Data Centre or similar complex industrial/mission-critical projects.
Strong technical background in MV (Medium Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) containment systems and heavy cable pulling operations.
Relevant Electrical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 / Higher National Diploma / Degree or equivalent).
Valid Safety Certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid, or European equivalent).
Demonstrable experience managing multi-national site teams and specialist subcontractors.
Excellent communication skills in English (Italian language skills are advantageous but not essential).
