Our client is seeking an Electrical Asset Manager to support the critical delivery of street lighting and powered apparatus across City Operations. This contract role will provide both operational and strategic support to ensure electrical highway assets are effectively managed, maintained and developed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing street lighting and powered apparatus assets across the highway network
  • Providing operational and strategic support to City Operations
  • Overseeing asset performance, maintenance requirements and service delivery
  • Supporting the planning and prioritisation of electrical highway works
  • Monitoring compliance, safety and performance within street lighting operations
  • Working with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to deliver effective asset management
  • Contributing to asset strategies, improvement plans and operational reporting

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical asset management within the highways or infrastructure sector
  • Strong knowledge of street lighting and powered highway apparatus
  • Understanding of operational and strategic asset management principles
  • Knowledge of highway maintenance, electrical safety and relevant regulations
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, stakeholders and operational teams
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills

Contract Details:

  • Approximately 12-month contract
  • Starting in November
  • Supporting a key street lighting management function within City Operations
