Due to continued growth and a consistently busy workload, we are looking to recruit experienced Welder/Fabricators to join a well-established marine engineering business.

We are seeking versatile individuals who are equally comfortable with both fabrication and welding and can contribute across a variety of workshop and site-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication of steel structures and components from engineering drawings
  • Welding using a range of processes, including:
    • FCAW
    • MMA
    • TIG
  • Working to quality and productivity targets
  • Carrying out fabrication and welding duties with minimal supervision
  • Supporting the wider production team as required
  • Working on both planned and reactive projects across workshop and site environments

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator
  • Strong fabrication skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with FCAW, MMA and TIG welding processes
  • Good all-round welding ability across a range of materials and thicknesses
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence

The key requirement is that candidates are genuine all-rounders with strong fabrication skills and solid welding experience.

Package

  • £20.50 - £26.50 per hour (Umbrella/CIS)
  • PAYE option available
  • Overtime available
  • Immediate starts for suitable candidates
  • Long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position if preferred
