Our client is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant Highway Engineer to join their growing highways and development planning team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile development, urban street, and public realm projects for both public and private sector clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highway and public realm design projects.
- Prepare drawings, reports, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of multiple projects, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Contribute to project management, design development, and technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience in highway design, traffic engineering, or development infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Civils 3D.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (ICE, CIHT, or equivalent).
For Senior Consultant level:
- Experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
- Ability to lead project delivery and support business development activities.
