🚨 Procurement Manager - Public Sector🚨

I'm currently supporting a large public sector organisation in the search for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their procurement team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on procurement role with a strong focus on pre-procurement planning, market engagement, tender management and stakeholder support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement exercises across a variety of categories.
- Advise stakeholders on appropriate routes to market, including Open Procedures, Competitive Flexible Procedures, Frameworks and PSR procurements.
- Conduct market engagement and procurement strategy development.
- Prepare and publish procurement notices.
- Manage procurement activity through the Proactis e-tendering platform.
- Develop and review tender documentation, evaluation criteria, award reports and business case documentation.
- Manage clarification processes and support supplier engagement throughout tender exercises.
- Facilitate tender evaluations and moderation sessions.
- Provide procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Line manage and support one Procurement Officer.
About You
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end public sector procurement projects.
- Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act and public sector procurement regulations.
- Experience using e-tendering platforms such as Proactis.
- Confident managing procurement processes from market engagement through to contract award.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Previous Local Government or public sector experience would be highly advantageous
