Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager for an initial six-month contract. The role will involve managing projects within an established portfolio and requires a technically minded, pragmatic professional who is comfortable taking a hands-on approach to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of technology projects within the client's project portfolio
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and risk registers
- Coordinate internal teams, technical specialists and external stakeholders
- Provide clear project governance, reporting and status updates
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes
- Translate business requirements into practical technical delivery plans
- Take a sleeves-up approach to resolving challenges and maintaining project momentum
- Support the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in technology or IT project management
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with technical teams
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach to project delivery and problem-solving
- Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management and delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication, organisational and reporting skills
- Experience with property or lease management systems would be advantageous
- Experience working with finance systems would also be beneficial
Contract Details:
- Initial six-month contract
- Up to £600 per day Inside IR35
- Hybrid working - Fareham and home-based
- Immediate start required
