Our client is seeking an experienced Site Agent to support a highways and public realm scheme in Dovercourt. This contract role will involve overseeing site operations, coordinating construction activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across the highways and public realm scheme
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project plans, specifications and programmes
- Monitoring health and safety, environmental and quality requirements on site
- Supervising highways, public realm and associated civil engineering activities
- Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports and relevant documentation
- Identifying and resolving site issues while supporting effective project delivery
- Communicating progress and coordinating with the wider project management team
Job Requirements:
- Experience working as a Site Agent or Site Manager within the highways or civil engineering sector
- Strong understanding of highway construction and public realm schemes
- Knowledge of site health and safety, quality assurance and environmental procedures
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and programmes
- Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
- Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS, or an equivalent qualification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment in Dovercourt
