Key Responsibilities
- Lead software testing activities across mobile applications and embedded systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans and cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system and exploratory testing.
- Identify, investigate and document software defects, working closely with development teams to support timely resolution.
- Test software across different devices, operating systems and product configurations.
- Support the improvement of automated testing processes and quality assurance practices.
- Contribute to risk assessment, release readiness and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in software testing for mobile applications, embedded software or connected products.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance, test methodologies and defect management.
- Ability to create clear test documentation and analyse complex technical issues.
- Understanding of mobile platforms, embedded systems and software development lifecycles.
- Experience with test automation tools, frameworks or scripting would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and lead testing activity.
- A structured, analytical and detail-focused approach to problem-solving.
