PTS Electrician
East Coast Main Line | Contract | Days & Nights
We're looking for experienced PTS Electricians to join a major programme of works on the East Coast Main Line. This is a great opportunity to work on a long-term rail infrastructure project carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and upgrade works across a range of railway assets.
The successful candidates will have a strong electrical background and be comfortable working in a rail environment, delivering work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance activities on rail infrastructure projects
- Installing containment, tray, trunking, conduit, and cabling systems
- Reading and working from drawings, schematics, and installation plans
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant standards, specifications, and safety procedures
- Working closely with supervisors, engineers, and other site teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an Electrician within rail, infrastructure, construction, or industrial environments
- Valid PTS certification
- Current ECS Gold Card
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- Experience with containment, cabling, and electrical infrastructure installations
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
