Senior Project Manager
Up to £550 per day | Bristol (Hybrid) | Defence Sector
We're supporting a growing consultancy within the Defence sector in securing an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver complex projects and sub-portfolios within a highly regulated environment.
This opportunity will suit an established Project or Programme Manager who is comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams, managing commercial relationships and delivering against demanding cost, schedule and performance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects and sub-portfolios
- Drive programme delivery against agreed milestones
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and resources
- Oversee suppliers and contract performance
- Ensure governance and compliance obligations are met
- Manage senior stakeholders across customer and delivery functions
- Support acquisition and commercial activities
Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering complex programmes or portfolios
- Strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience
- Commercial and supplier management experience
- Budget and financial management responsibility
- Experience within Defence, Government, Infrastructure or similarly regulated environments
- APM PMQ, MSP, PRINCE2, ChPP, RPP
