We are recruiting an experienced Fabricator to support a busy new build marine project on a contract basis.
The Role:
- Fabrication of steel components and assemblies
- Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
- Marking out, cutting, shaping, fitting and assembling materials to specification
- Preparing fabricated sections for welding and installation
- Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards
- Supporting the project team to meet key build milestones
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator within Marine, Shipbuilding, heavy engineering, structural steelwork, manufacturing, or a similar environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Contract Details:
- Approx. 2 month contract
- 60 hours per week available
- Immediate start
- £27.50/h
