Resourcing Solutions Limited are looking for a general foreman to work on a rail project in Northern Ireland. The role is a long term contract and has been deemed outside IR35.

Job description

Ideally the successful candidate will have a railway background, however this is not essential. A strong engineering or construction background in this type of role will also be considered and training for rail competencies can be given. As the GF you will be required to:
* Manage the on-site labour and ensure the teams are set up each day with the necessary tools and equipment to complete the tasks required.
* Liaise with construction management team as to any issues or problems and update each day what work has been completed.
* Be responsible in ensuring all sites are set up in accordance to the project health & safety guidlines.
* Ensure site deliveries are as per orders and requests
* Ensure site logs are completed each day and ensure they are given to the management team
* Provide leadership, supervision, utilisation and monitoring of direct and sub-contract labour force
* Ensure quality standards are met and maintained

Ideally the candidate will hold a current Sentinel/PTS card however this is not essential, but they will be required to hold a SSSTS/SMSTS qualification.
