Job description
The role holder:
Fabricate, assemble, and install, sheet metal items, including the use of welding and fabrication equipment. Pipe protection, glam plates, small support systems - bunk spaces
Key Role Descriptors: Fabricate, assemble, and install, sheet metal items, including the use of welding and fabrication equipment on the Astute and/or Dreadnought class submarines whilst under construction
Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Must be a time served Sheet Metal Worker with NVQ level 3. Apprenticship must be in sheet metal.
Background experience: Experience of submarine /shipbuilding construction would be an advantage. Any industrial experience is beneficial
