Job description

MEP Project Manager for Major Rail Station Upgrade in Birmingham.

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to contribute to a significant station upgrade project at Birmingham. As part of this role, you will oversee the project management of all mechanical and electrical services, including surveys, testing, and subsequent installations. The scope encompasses various systems, such as Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Communications, and Fire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and ensuring the successful execution of MEP systems within the project.
• Programme and Cost Control: Your expertise in managing projects from a strategic perspective will be valuable. We prioritize efficient cost control and adherence to project timelines.
• Commercial Acumen: Understanding the financial aspects of the project and making informed decisions is essential.
• NR Contracts Experience: Ideally, you have prior experience working under NR (Network Rail) contracts.

Qualifications and Background:

A robust background in project management within M&E/MEP rail infrastructure and station projects is crucial.

Contract Position: This role offers a contract position, and the rate is negotiable.

Start Date: The initial contract duration is 6-12 months, and we are looking for someone to start ASAP.
