Job description

Our client, a leader in the marine industry, is currently seeking FCAW Welders for ship repair work on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing high-quality welding work on ships and marine structures

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Ensuring all welding work meets industry standards and specifications

• Collaborating with a team of skilled tradespeople to complete projects

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in welding, preferably in the ship repair industry

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Min. 4G coding in FCAW

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Health and safety awareness in a marine environment

The contract is on going. You can expect to work up to 12 hour days.

£25/h first 48 hours

£37.50/h After 48 hours

Accommodation is provided as well as daily travel to and from accommodation/site.
