Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Our client is a leading company in the industry and renowned for their involvement with the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Telecommunication services on Infrastructure Projects throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Project Overview: This project is focused on electrical work, encompassing primary cable management systems (CMS), cable tray installations, lighting installations, and distribution board setups. The project entails extensive cabling work spanning various areas of the plant, including boilers, waste bunkers, and other critical infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of our electrical scope which includes Electrical Equipment, CMS (primary & secondary), cable installation, cable terminations, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, instrumentation and controls etc
- 50% of time spent out on site supporting construction team, undertaking site walks to review the installation and highlight any snags and work with the install team to close these out
- Liaise closely with the planner to ensure all take-off's are incorporated within the programme and the installed measure is correct to ensure accurate progress is recorded
- Liaise with the client for solutions to any design issues encountered and formalise through the correct project process
- Reviewing and understanding CMS drawings and assisting with producing efficient methodologies for installation
Job Requirements:
- CSCS/ECS management card
- Significant experience working on large scale industrial or similar projects
- Understand CMS drawings, propose solutions for any issues encountered, undertake material take-offs of the drawings
