🛠️ About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Pipelayers / Main Layers to join an established team working on clean water utilities projects across the Didcot / Thames Valley area.

This role involves the installation and renewal of water mains on major infrastructure projects, including work on leading frameworks such as Thames Water.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Installation of water mains (MDPE, DI and associated fittings)
• Carrying out butt fusion and electrofusion welding on HDPE pipe
• Excavation, bedding, laying, jointing and backfilling
• Reading and interpreting utility drawings and plans
• Working safely in trenches and around live services
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and water hygiene

👷‍♂️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer / Main Layer in utilities
• Strong experience in butt fusion welding (essential)
• Knowledge of clean water / potable mains installation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or gang

Certifications (preferred but not all essential):

• CSCS Card
• EUSR Water Hygiene
• NRSWA / Streetworks
