Water Utilities Supervisor - South West Wales

Matchtech are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Utilities Supervisor to oversee multiple mains laying teams on a major water infrastructure project across South West Wales.
This role will involve managing and coordinating 8-10 operational teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. We're looking for a strong leader with a proven background in water utilities and mains installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate 8-10 mains laying crews
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company and client procedures
- Monitor productivity, quality, and programme delivery
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Liaise with clients, site management, and operational teams
- Manage workforce allocation and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with NRSWA, H&S legislation, and water industry standards
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising multiple utility or mains laying teams
- Strong background within the Water Utilities sector
- Valid NRSWA Supervisor Qualification
- Streetworks accreditation
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
