Simulation & Modelling Engineer
Location: On-site (5 days/week)
Our client, a key player in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Simulation & Modelling Engineer to join their dynamic team.
You'll work at a product-wide level across multiple projects, gaining valuable exposure to a wide array of cutting-edge technologies and platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale simulation environments and apply your skills in support of innovative solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the development and integration of system and subsystem models across various platforms

Enabling performance analysis, concept assessment, and training through simulation

Applying systems thinking to understand how different components interact within a larger system

Using and developing models in simulation environments such as Simulink or similar platforms

Collaborating with teams across multiple UK and European sites
What We're Looking For:

Experience with simulation tools (e.g. Simulink) or programming languages used in modelling

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex systems

Awareness of systems engineering principles and modelling processes

Familiarity with change/configuration control systems (e.g. Jira, IBM EWM)

Ability to visualise system behaviour and contribute to technically sound model development
