Job description
Overall Job Objective:
The Contracts Engineer will play a key role in managing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new and existing sewage and surface water pumping station equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all relevant terms and conditions.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to facilitate the procurement of parts and materials in line with the pre-determined program of works.
- Monitoring project costs, timelines, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Assist in coordinating installations and commissioning of pumping station equipment to meet customer requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the pump station, construction, or civil engineering industry (though this is not essential).
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and project coordination.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail
