Our client, a leader in civil engineering and infrastructure, is currently seeking a Project Manager specialising in the water sector for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs, and produce monthly reports on project performance
- Deliver projects from the design phase to completion, including all handover documentation
- Review progress, budget, resources, and planning
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, framework suppliers, and design consultants
- Develop and maintain construction programmes
- Co-ordinate and manage site investigations during ongoing construction
- Develop engineering solutions that meet client requirements
- Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, risk assessments, and method statements
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs
- Set high standards of leadership in promoting HS&E procedures and best practices
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control
- Experience in the water / utilities sector would be preferred
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent software
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- CSCS manager's card, SMSTS, NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Knowledge of the NEC contracts
- Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing and delivering successful projects
