Our client, an established integrated design and build provider in the water sector, is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to support the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying civil engineering works in accordance with project specifications
- Supervising subcontractors and site operatives to support safe and efficient delivery
- Completing quality inspections, inspection and test plans, and associated records
- Producing and maintaining accurate site documentation, progress reports and site records
- Supporting programme delivery, short-term planning and the coordination of daily site activities
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Identifying and resolving technical issues on site, escalating matters where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with construction, commercial, quality, design and client teams
Job Requirements:
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in site-based civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Understanding of setting out and surveying techniques
- Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within construction
- Experience within the water sector
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts
- SMSTS, SSSTS or an equivalent site safety qualification
- Experience using digital construction tools and quality assurance systems
- Membership of ICE or another relevant professional institution
- Full UK driving licence
