Our client is seeking a Site Manager to lead teams delivering essential gas distribution and gas transmission projects in the oil and gas sector. Based in Kent, this permanent role involves managing fast-paced site activity, maintaining high safety standards, controlling costs and supporting efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site teams delivering gas network and infrastructure projects
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety, environmental and NRSWA requirements
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues and escalate concerns promptly
- Manage site schedules to minimise disruption and prevent delays
- Promote quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across site operations
- Provide effective training, mentoring and leadership to support team development
- Maintain awareness of commercial priorities and help control project costs
Job Requirements:
- Experience managing sites within gas, utilities, construction or infrastructure environments
- Must has Gas qualifications (EG SHEA)
- Strong knowledge of gas industry standards, site management and health and safety best practice
- Demonstrable ability to lead teams and manage commercial priorities
- NRSWA Supervisor and SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications
- Civil engineering and first aid qualifications would be advantageous
- Full, valid driving licence
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
