Introduction

Our client, a leading engineering company in the UK, is currently seeking Duct/HVAC Fitters Mates to join their team. This is a contract position within the Buildings and Rail sectors. As a Duct/HVAC Fitters Mate, you will be working on HVAC, smoke clearance, ventilation, and pressurisation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of ductwork and HVAC systems
• Working closely with the Duct/HVAC Fitters to ensure smooth operations
• Assisting with the assembly and installation of ventilation and pressurisation systems
• Carrying out duct erecting tasks as required
• Operating tools and equipment safely and effectively

Job Requirements

• Significant experience as a Ductwork fitter
• A good understanding of ductwork and HVAC systems
• Knowledge of HVAC, smoke clearance, ventilation, and pressurisation systems
• CSCS certification as a minimum requirement
• Previous experience working on Stations or Railway Projects is preferred, but not essential
